Milo Barnett has been selected to contest the Gosforth Ward in this year’s local elections. Milo works in social housing and was born and raised in the North East. Milo has a background in various policy issues such as Housing, Health and Disability and would like the opportunity to use his skills to help improve the lives of Gosforth residents as well as the whole community. In his spare time Milo is a keen Football and Rugby fan, enjoys a pub quiz and he is currently undertaking a part time Masters in History at Cambridge University.
Milo commented “I am looking forward to the upcoming campaign and delivering a positive message to the people of Gosforth. I will be talking about the issues that matter to them and their families. I will be focusing on matters such as local investment, transport & accessibility as well as making sure Gosforth gets the services it needs. I also want to hear the issues that you have, so feel free to message me at Milo.Barnett@newcastlelabour.org.uk. Only Labour can deliver the services necessary for Gosforth as well provide a long term vision for Newcastle in tackling problems such as climate change and to ensure that we remain one of the leading cities in Europe to both live and work in 2022 and beyond”
