Steve Fairlie has been re-selected as Labour candidate for Callerton and Throckley in the upcoming local elections.

Steve has served as a city Councillor for 10 years, first for the old Newburn Ward and more recently for Callerton and Throckley.

Steve, who works part time as a special needs teacher, lives in Walbottle and is passionate about giving our area a strong voice on council.

Steve says, “Many of the needs of our area are different from the rest of the city and I am determined to always fight for our corner of Newcastle
