As a resident of Byker for over 30 years I have devoted a lot of time into the community.

I am hard-working, committed and passionate about improving the area we live in.

I understand one of the most important aspects of any Councillor’s role is standing up for local people and I am committed to do just this if elected. A lifelong labour supporter,  I have worked along with the local Councillors on a number of election campaigns in Byker.

I am secretary of my local tenants and residents association and will bring an understanding of dealing with issues of concern from local residents.

I have direct knowledge of the benefits system and will bring that experience to help others . It would be an absolute privilege to represent the people of Byker as local Councillor, and I pledge to do my very best to represent everyone to the best of my ability.
