“I’m incredibly proud to stand for re-election in Heaton Ward. It’s been a privilege being your Councillor for 4 years, and I’d be honoured if you choose to re-elect me. During my time as a councillor, I’ve represented, spoke up and supported residents with issues from litter, parking, fly-tipping, housing and anti-social behaviour.
I’ve raised awareness of the issue of Period poverty, Community Safety, Climate Change and worked with volunteers, community groups, Police and businesses on these issues. I believe that Heaton is one of the best places to live and work in. It has a great community spirit; where people come together to support each other from Community WhatsApp’s groups, mutual aid groups, litter picking, park volunteers to organising Festivals. It’s great to be involved in this community and play a part in supporting the people of Heaton.
This pandemic has affected us all in many ways and its effects will be felt for years to come, but it’s also shown the importance of community, working together and how much we value our green spaces all of which we have in abundance in Heaton. If re-elected I will continue to prioritise the environment, community safety and listening to residents.”
