I am extremely proud to have had the opportunity to represent Walker as an elected Councillor for more than thirty years.  Over those years many things have changed but the one constant is that the labour party has been there for local residents’ year in and year out.

Very many local people know me personally as I was born and raised in Walker. I attended both West Walker and East Walker Primary (now Tyne View) Schools.

I have represented residents for over 30 years as Councillor and during that time I have served as a School Governor at Monkchester Nursery School, West Walker Primary School, Wharrier Street Primary School and Walker Technology College. I was proud to serve as Chair of Governors at both Walker and Wharrier Street. Along with my two colleagues, John and Margaret, I fully supported residents’ views on Brexit.  As a local Councillor I work closely with Nick Brown, MP (having been his Political Agent for 25 years).
