“I’m proud to be standing for re-election for Monument ward. I intend to be an advocate for the people of Monument Ward, fighting for their best interests, supporting the whole community, particularly the most vulnerable in society. I was born in the city, living in Newcastle my entire life, now raising a young family here. I’m extremely passionate about the area, improving people’s lives and community.
As a Paramedic based in Newcastle, I bring knowledge and experience in public service and community organising to help protect local services. I’m a proud Geordie who wants to support to the community I love, I volunteer for many charities and community organisations. It’s difficult to describe to people what it is like working as a paramedic on the front line during the pandemic, it’s been a very challenging time. The virus has totally changed society and every part of our lives, the physical and mental health challenges have been difficult for everyone.
If re-elected I will continue to work with Jane & Theresa -Labour team in Monument, to support the COVID recovery for the city centre, making Monument a good place to live and work.”
